Kay Brown is the lucky dog that gets to watch my little niece Jillian during the day. She is a lovely person, and Bret and I really enjoyed capturing some photos of her growing family. She has one little grandbaby already, and one on the way! Thanks so much to Kay and her daughters and their husbands for braving the heat that day, and letting us capture some beautiful memories for you!

Welcome, Little Ben

A few months back on Valentine’s Day I went up and shot some maternity photos for Meredith & Raun. It’s now little Ben’s turn for a shot in front of the camera, and he did great! He takes very well after his mother and father in the photogenic department! He loved all the excitement! There’s no sleeping baby here!

Little Logan Joins the World

You may remember a few posts back I did some maternity photos for Jeremy & Michelle. Well, their little one has arrived, and let me tell you, he is a sweet little thing! I got to hold him for a few minutes before we started shooting, and he stole my heart from the second I picked him up! I’m so excited for Jeremy & Michelle, and of course, Little Logan!

Jilly Bean Jaggi-The Fun Has Just Begun

My niece Jillian (Jilly Bean) turned one in February. I thought she was cute when she was born, but I gotta tell ya, I don’t think it gets much cuter than this!

Hudson is 9 months

Not that any of us can believe it, but Hudson is 9 months old already! We took the opportunity of the perfect time of year and headed out to the Dallas Arboretum for their family session. The had Dallas Blooms going on, where basically the entire place is just ALIVE with color. Holden, as always, was the perfect big brother, giving Hudson hugs and kisses for the photos.

Meredith & Raun

Many of you know that Dallas was hit a week or so ago with a record snowstorm that covered us in about 12 inches of the white stuff! It was beautiful but it did cause a ton of problems the main one being that 40,000 people lost power for a while. Bret and I were among them and we were out for about 4 days. We are super blessed and have family close by that we could stay with until we finally had heat again, but it was an interesting few days, coming home to our freezing house to pick up a few things for the next day, rummaging around in the dark using my cell phone as a flash light…Well, it so happened that our power was still out on February 14, Valentines day. I had an extra special session scheduled that day and I wasn’t about to miss it. Meredith and Raun are about to be parents. What a better way to celebrate Valentine’s day than to have artistic photos taken of your beautiful belly. We had a great session and I’m so excited about how the photos turned out! Meredith and Raun are naturals in front of the camera and made it easy to get beautiful images!
