The Fasken Family

Our first photoshoot since having Colton, and we couldn’t have asked for a better family! Melissa and Craig are a super sweet couple, and their little daughter Piper is just adorable, with a firecracker personality. She was cracking jokes to keep the mood light, and even showed us how to do the dance move “the running man” (which she informed us a kid in her class made up).

All this fun was at Watters Creek in Allen which has a lot of fun bridges and landscaping in addition to good food and shopping. It was a great evening followed by Bret and I taking advantage of our first night of babysitting and having a nice dinner on the patio listening to live music.

Renee & Harrison

What’s better than being pregnant? Being pregnant right along with your best friend! After months and months of both of us trying, we just so happened to both get pregnant within just a few days of each other! It’s been a great experience comparing symptoms, and hormonal ups and downs, and all the joys of pregnancy with Renee as we are both going through all of it at pretty much the exact same time. It’s amazing. I’m pretty sure my little boy, and Renee’s little girl will be the best of buds. Anyway, I was thrilled she wanted me (ahem, I convinced her) to take a few maternity photos of this pregnancy, so we had a little shoot at her house, and since Harrison’s fourth birthday is right around the corner, we took the opportunity to throw in some 4 year old shots as well complete with a yearly shot of Harrison with his little Pat the bunny. Pat sure is getting smaller and smaller. Renee is a beautiful mommy, and I love the ones with her and Harrison together. He’s really excited about his little sister coming soon, and I know Renee, Harrison, and Baby Avery will treasure these shots for years to come.

We just wrapped up the Nuspl’s Family video, which we shot while doing their family portraits just before Christmas. As you can see, they’re full of love, laughter and just a joy to be around. The whole family was great at just being themselves, making for a pure and true keepsake memory.

The Johnston Girls

It was so much fun getting to see the Johnston girls, Ava, and Livi, again this year for their holiday portrait, and as an added bonus, they have a brand new little sister, Cora! They are soooo adorable, and I really can’t believe how unique each of their personalities are. Ava lives for the camera, and Livi just LOVES to make silly faces! Cora is still taking it all in I think, but I’m sure she’ll have no trouble holding her own with the other two.

The Wilhelm Family

The Wilhelm family looked absolutely stylin in their zebra prints and black and white! Valerie opted for an urban look for this years Christmas photos, and we are so glad she did! We found a big red garage door that was the perfect backdrop for their wardrobe. It was a little crazy at times keeping all the kids out of the street, but it was well worth it for all the cool photos. Thanks so much Valerie, I hope you love the photos as much as we do!

Jacob

I arrived at the Feather home early on a cool Saturday morning. Usually I shoot babies as they sleep, but little Jacob would have none of that! He was wide awake and ready to play. Luckily he is equally cute awake as he is asleep, and he had no complaints of me taking tons of photos of him. He did look at me like I was a little crazy at first, but he got used to it really quick, and we got some adorable wide eyed shots of him. Eventually he did get sleepy, but only agreed to stay asleep while in his mom’s arms, and that worked for us.

The Nuspl Family

My fellow Dallas dwellers will remember a few days last week when we had the most amazing fall weather. The orange and red leaves were beautiful, and the temperature felt more like a day in May instead of November! I was sure glad that we chose that day to shoot the Nuspl’s family photos! We had so much fun. The kids were adorable, super energetic, and so sweet to each other!

The Greenstreet Family

As always, it was great hanging out with Raun and Meredith last Saturday for little Ben’s first family photo shoot! Bret and I went out together for the shoot, and I was so glad he came because Ben was just mesmerized by him! He kept his eyes right on him the whole time! Ben was such a little trooper when we put him in the grass. We even did a couple of shots with him in the pool, and he just smiled through it. What a cutie, Mere and Raun, thanks so much for having us capture these memories for you. We feel truly blessed to have you as friends.

Harrison

Little Harrison has turned into quite the little model these days. Literally, he needed some new head shots for his agency! So Renee and I had a casual afternoon visit, and the plan was to get one or two shots for her to use. Well of course when you have a kid this cute that is not really possible. We ended up getting a TON, but these are a couple of my favorites!
