As a companion to Stephanie and Dan’s wedding photography we also shot a highlight video, that I really think of more as “a glimpse” into all the little bits and pieces that made that day theirs. This is my favorite video that I have done to date. There was just this raw feeling to the whole thing as I put it all together; it was so real that it was surreal. And whatever that means exactly, I tried to focus on it. I hope that it comes across well, because Stephanie and Dan are an amazingly beautiful couple.

Alicia + Dan Highlight Video

A few days after Alicia & Dan’s wedding we headed back out to the park where they were married and made good use of an awesome field there. We also went over to the coolest little town, a favorite of theirs called Wentzville . As is the norm when out with a bride in groom in full attire, people driving by honked, hooped and hollered to show their support. But this time we even had a few people who called them out by name as they drove past! Yup, mini-celebs, right here.

Congratulations you two, it was great to be a part of!

The Johnston Family

The Johnstons are one energy filled family! Their little girls move a mile a minute and are super sweet. We had such a good time, and I have to admit that soon after leaving I was already missing them. Ann will soon be finished wrapping up all the photos, so keep an eye out for them in the next day or so!

What do you get when you are beautiful, pregnant, and sister to a photographer? You get to be a test subject for all of our crazy adventure shoot ideas! Cindy was a great subject for us (twice actually!) while we practiced and refined a unique way to celebrate a woman’s pregnancy. You’ve probably seen some of the awesome photographs from Cindy’s maternity shoot (click here if you didn’t!), but now we thought we’d show you the video side of the shoot!

Also, this is her first time seeing the completed thing, so Cindy and Ryan, congratulations on your new baby girl and we hope you enjoy the video!
