The time for my niece, Jilllian’s 18 month portraits is here! Bret and I had Jillian all to ourselves for a whole day (and night). We went shoe shopping, grocery shopping, we played in the yard, and had time for a few portraits. I think we did just about everything under the sun, and believe me at 105 degrees it feels like you are literally right under the sun! Cindy packed Jillian a super cute little outfit complete with the cutest little pink Chucks, so that we could get some photos while we were babysitting. Our plan was to get some portraits in in the morning, but it was so hot that we could barely get this normally very happy girl to crack a smile. That is, until we said the magic word. No, it wasn’t please, it was “Swimming” As soon as Bret said that word her whole face lit up and she pointed at the water saying “pool, pool!” I convinced her to change out of her little 50′s style outfit and into an even cuter bathing suit. We figured, why should the photo shoot stop now, she’s just starting to enjoy herself! I’m so glad we didn’t put the cameras away, because the results are probably my favorite Jillian photos yet!
