home is where the heart is

After 3 weeks of being down under and exploring the outback Bret and I finally made our way back to the United States.  We had an amazing adventure.  One that we will never forget, yet it is so good to be home.  I opened my sister’s car door at the airport to see my little niece smiling up at me showing off her 5 new teeth and almost full head of hair that grew all while I was away.  My heart melted and I thought….We just traveled half way around the world and  I don’t think we saw anything that compares to that!

We certainly did see some amazing things though and our photographs and memories that we have from this journey will be ones I cherish.  We had a great travel agent that put the entire trip together and to us it seemed as if all of our arrangements just happened magically on their own.  All we had to do was read where and when to show up and everything fell right into place.  Not only that, but all the great stuff we did that he arranged for us was so fitting and I give the credit to him taking  quite a bit of time talking with me over the phone and getting to know us so that he could put us with activities that fit our style.
