Night out here is so awesome. The near zero light pollution lets us see the stars clear as day, which we quickly realized are all new to us being on the other side of the world. Weird!! Sitting around a campfire, talking into the night has been so enjoyable that after spending a night in our tent, Bret and I spent the next night outside on cots we set up near the fire. It was pretty cool being able to open our eyes and see the sky like we did, and we didn’t get eaten by anything, which was fantastic.
