hello, nice to meet you.

We're illuminare photography + cinematography and this blog/website serves as our initial meeting ground, allowing you to get to know us and our work a little better.  While we have a portfolio section and frequently post blog highlights from our weddings and portrait shoots, we also keep the blog rolling with a bunch of various photos and videos that we do for ourselves when we're out just having a good time.  We feel that it's important to share this side of ourselves and allow you to see who we are, how we work, and what we think is cool.

So sit back, relax and have fun browsing around!  And if you feel that we'd be a good match for you, we'd love to hear from you!

Kata Tjuta

We got up at 4.15 in the morning to catch the sunrise out near Kata Tjuta, which is basically a series of mini-Ulurus.  I’m usually a morning person, but this one got even me.  Totally worth the effort though, because on the drive out to our viewing area, as the sun started to change the sky, I knew it was going to be great.  The photos came out like paintings and to see it in person was simply unreal.  We could even look off in the distance and see Uluru sitting back there near the sun.  Following the sunrise viewing, we drove to the base of Kata Tjuta where we spent the day exploring.  I loved it there, and really enjoyed climbing around and through all of the fallen rock.  And we even happened to run across a few Red Kangaroos!!  After wrapping up our hiking through the area, we hit the road again for our next stop.

October 25, 2009 - 12:46 pm Cindy Jaggi - Yeah! Finally some kangaroos! We thought it was funny that you didn't get pictures of them at the zoo.
