We're illuminare photography + cinematography and this blog/website serves as our initial meeting ground, allowing you to get to know us and our work a little better. While we have a portfolio section and frequently post blog highlights from our weddings and portrait shoots, we also keep the blog rolling with a bunch of various photos and videos that we do for ourselves when we're out just having a good time. This afternoon we took the Tranz Alpine train through the mountains from Greymouth to Christchurch. The lulling sound of the train and the rainy day outside gave me the opportunity to finish up the book I’d been reading and made it a very relaxing trip. At the very end of the journey, right before we arrived in Christchurch, the clouds rolled away and the sun came out giving us a great opportunity to go and see the amazing view from the outdoor car.
