We're illuminare photography + cinematography and this blog/website serves as our initial meeting ground, allowing you to get to know us and our work a little better. While we have a portfolio section and frequently post blog highlights from our weddings and portrait shoots, we also keep the blog rolling with a bunch of various photos and videos that we do for ourselves when we're out just having a good time. We feel that it's important to share this side of ourselves and allow you to see who we are, how we work, and what we think is cool.

B + A Take 2

In April we did Beth and Andy’s great wedding downtown. With the wedding being in the evening and Beth and Andy not wanting to see each other before the big moment they decided to go for a “Take 2 Shoot” What a great idea! We had plenty of time and didn’t have to worry about rushing to get back to their guests! Since we went for more of an urban theme for the engagement photos we decided to drive them out to a little park just 30 minutes or so outside of downtown Dallas. It’s actually the same park that Bret and I got engaged!

The morning started out cloudy but by the time Beth and Andy arrived the sun was shining and it was turning into a beautiful day!
