After a full day of location scouting and hanging out, Bret set the video camera up for one final shot. When he came over to me he was breathing like he had just run a mile and his heart was beating a mile a minute. I turned around and he got down on one knee and proposed. It was the sweetest thing ever and we have the whole thing on video tape! It just happened last night so as soon as we get a chance we’ll get a video up. But I wanted to let everyone know and post some of the photos we shot of the day and of course a shot of the ring!

This one was after we set the camera up and grabbed another shot WITH the ring!
This couple was walking by just after Bret proposed. They are on a 2 1/2 month road trip from Canada. They listed a ton of places they had already been and said they were just driving until they found cool places to stop. They had no idea what they were getting into when we asked them to take a picture of us. Bret set everything up and told him exactly how to shoot it and had him take several photos. They were so nice and patient and we told them we were so excited about just being engaged, and since they were so nice to take our photo so many times we would return the favor for them.
Well, here they got a little memento of their stop in Dallas.
And finally, the photo you’ve all been waiting for….. The ring.
Really and truly I am so blessed to have Bret in my life. I know for certain that I am actually the luckiest girl alive, and I am absolutely thrilled about spending the rest of my life with him.
