We're illuminare photography + cinematography and this blog/website serves as our initial meeting ground, allowing you to get to know us and our work a little better.  While we have a portfolio section and frequently post blog highlights from our weddings and portrait shoots, we also keep the blog rolling with a bunch of various photos and videos that we do for ourselves when we're out just having a good time.  We feel that it's important to share this side of ourselves and allow you to see who we are, how we work, and what we think is cool.

Last weekend when we went to babysit Harrison, we decided to bring along the camera. I know I may be a bit partial, but isn’t he just about the cutest kid ever!

March 30, 2009 - 12:03 pm Rissa Smith - Since last Friday I've not been able to stop looking at the amazing photos/videos on your site. Like the lady above, this video DID make me cry. Thinking about our little girl on the way and seeing how incredibly happy this little guy is was so heartwarming. He is too precious. I can't wait for you and Bret to do our family shoot after Bella arrives!

February 28, 2009 - 1:50 pm Sarah Smith Harris - I have never met him so I have no idea why that video has made me so emotional...Ann that is such a terrific video. He is such a lucky little boy! It brought tears to my eyes almost immediately. The way you put it all together was so meaningful. Kudos to you.
