My Sister Nikki got married on the 7th of November. It was a really small courthouse wedding, and only a few people were there. It was really nice though and great to see my mom and dad, and have a nice visit with my family.
The Ceremony was at 8:30 or so in the morning. we got up at oh about 5am to get ready and drive out to Bonne Terre (where Nikki and Dustin live, and where the Ceremony was). Their wedding was actually a lot of fun to photograph. Dustin really cleaned up well
and Nikki looked absolutely stunning in her dress that my Aunt Diane made for her. This is her finishing up getting ready right before the ceremony.
Her flowers were really great. She had them done at a little local florist shop.
We got a couple of shots at the court house before heading out to the country for more photos.
They thought I was crazy when I had them stand in front of the stop sign, but I think it’s kind of cool!

While we were driving around I saw this wall and literally made the girl I was riding with slam on the brakes so we could stop and take photos there. I was so happy with the way they turned out. They are my favorite from the whole day.

Nikki’s dress was soooo amazing and as I mentioned before my Aunt Diane made it! The story is that when Nikki was 11 years old Aunt Diane made her Halloween costume and Nikki asked her “Aunt Diane Will you make my wedding dress one day?” Aunt Diane thought “we’ll see how that works out” Well when Nikki and Dustin decided to get married Nikki called her up and said “you promised!” Well I can’t even imagine a more beautiful dress, it was perfect!
Bret has been talking for ever about doing a wedding couple with an old truck. Well as soon as we pulled up to Nikki & Dustin’s house I saw the perfect one! I was just bummed Bret couldn’t make the trip with me. He really liked the images I got with it though!
