The Johnson’s invited me down to San Antonio to photograph the family with the house that the girls called home during their childhood years. It was a bittersweet decision for Charlie and Pauline to sell the house, and move with youngest sister Ashley, to Houston to be near their grandson, Maxwell. Erika Drove down from Houston with Family (Jay and Maxwell) in tow. Krystal came from Dallas with her husband John and Tasha came from the North East with her two boys all to have photos done in front of this beautiful and memory filled home.
I love this shot of Pauline in the kitchen. You could just tell she was so comfortable there. As everyone rushed around her I realized that we were right in the middle of some of the girls favorite memories.

The front of the house was gorgeous enough, but the back yard took my breath away. The gardens were so beautiful. I felt like I was at a botanical garden or something. So after the photos in front of the house we headed to the gardens for some more casual shots of different groups of the family.
The weekend happened to fall on Triston’s Birthday so of course Grandma and Grandpa (Charlie and Pauline) Could not disappoint him After all the formal photos were over we donned our bathing suites and got out the Cake and ice cream.
