We're illuminare photography + cinematography and this blog/website serves as our initial meeting ground, allowing you to get to know us and our work a little better. While we have a portfolio section and frequently post blog highlights from our weddings and portrait shoots, we also keep the blog rolling with a bunch of various photos and videos that we do for ourselves when we're out just having a good time. Welcome Harrison Gill to the world!

Harrison was born on August 1st at about 9:20pm Renee’s parent’s made it down for the event. They drove in from St. Louis and arrived just shortly after he was born. Theresa (Steve’s mom) was here in Dallas and she and I waited anxiously for Steve to walk into the nursery carrying the little bundle of joy. We were both ready to Jump out of our skin with excitement! I was in the nursery with Steve, watching the nurse do all of the things that need to be done within the first hour or so of life, and when I looked up I saw Teresa. She was looking through the window with so much love. I hope Harrison sees this one day!

Babies are so amazing! You can’t help but think about how tiny they are, and the fact that yes, even you were that small at one point. (most of us even smaller he was kind of a big baby at 8lbs 1oz Thank God for C-Sections!)
