It seems like only yesterday that my best friend Renee was telling me that she was pregnant. At the time it felt like a lifetime away. After all I had months to go before I had to even start thinking about a shower, right? Well time does fly when you are having fun and July got here before I knew it. Hilary and I threw a great little shower with a “Pat the Bunny” theme to match Harrison’s room decor. I think Renee really enjoyed it and I loved seeing her happy.
Hilary had these adorable petit fores made for the shower. Now if you are not familiar with “Pat the Bunny” you may not realize how great these little things were, but the cake lady matched the flower pattern in the book perfectly! Not to mention how great they tasted! I had my own sweet tooth contribution…. I made Peanut Butter Balls. (really, I look for any reason to make them they are so good 
)
As a special bonus for the shower Renee’s friend Danielle brought her two week old baby Oscar up from Houston for the shower. It was great seeing Danielle, and also getting a little bit of a preview of what’s to come very soon.
Harrison is due August 10th and I have been told that he could safely arrive anytime after July 16th. So starting very soon we are on “Baby Watch” I’m so excited I can hardly stand it. I just can’t wait to meet the little guy!
