Hi there! My name is Ann Rabbitt and I'm a photographer based out of Dallas, Texas.
This blog is kind of like a scrapbook of both my life and my business combined (same thing anyways, right?). Here you'll find images from my recent shoots and weddings, as well as Bret and my various adventures. It's basically a way for everyone to get a sense of what I'm all about and keep up with what's going on.
We love trying new things and are always looking for new projects to get involved in. A few months ago we started thinking about doing a video of a band singing and playing some of their favorite songs in a really casual setting. Bret called an old friend who happens to be in the band nelo to see what we could do.
It turned out so much more fun than we even thought! The guys were all totally into it and we had a blast hanging out with them! This post is a few of the stills I got on the day. Bret is finishing up the video and it will be posted soon! I can’t wait for everyone to see it!
I highly recommend visiting the nelo website and giving them a listen! I’d heard a couple of their songs, but I’m a total nelo fan now! Be sure to check out the song “love solution” it’s my favorite!
We are puppy sitting this weekend for Renee’s dog Bo. I used to spend a lot of time with Bo. Before I met Bret and Renee was traveling a lot more it seemed like I had him almost every weekend. He still loves coming over and hanging out with us! I think even though he loves Harrison, he really enjoys some peace and quiet without a two year old running around.
Last night Bo and I fell asleep while watching a movie and Bret grabbed a photo of me and my pal.
Bo is always pretty much my shadow when he stays here. This morning I had to leave for a few hours and I got a text from Bret. “This is pathetic, Please come rescue Bo”
When I finally arrived, Bret showed me this photo and said he didn’t move from this spot where he watched the door until I got home. He is one pathetic puppy, and I love him.
We are watching Berkley (My sister’s dog) too. But he is very care free and entertains himself for the most part. Bret said he didn’t even know I’d left. Not as pathetic, but still very cute!
July 8, 2009 - 2:50 pmChrisitna Diaz - hahahah, Bo is a qt pie!!! so is Berkley, I've had the most greatest pleasure of meeting them both and yes, its soo true about Bo! Berkley almost looks mad that ur taking pics of him!
The Jaggi’s came down all the way from Edmond Oklahoma so that I could photograph little Nicholas for his 1 year photos. They may have wanted to visit the always adorable and quickly growing Jillian too, but it’s whichever.
Christie (Nicholas’ mom) had only seen the Dallas Arboretum through photographs I’d taken of other families and thought this would be a great time to go.
It was HOT! even at 9 in the morning. For those not in Dallas, we have had a week or two of 100-103 degrees.
Despite all that Nicholas and Jillian both had fun and we got some really cute shots in. Here are a few of my favorites…
The cousins got a shot together too!
In order to let the kids escape from the heat a little we went over to a fountain the park.
Jillian loved the water…..Nicholas, not so much. But it was really cute anyway.
Bret and I took advantage of a little bit of free time and a full studio set up! We always love snapping photos and white backgrounds are just so cool!
